Child and Youth Care Model
Individualized, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care within a client-centered system.
At Key Assets Nova Scotia, client-centered is not just a phrase on a plaque on our wall, or a claim made in a mission-statement. It is the top priority in our everyday work to not only provide care that is individualized, but also to ensure that even our administrative structures, policies, and procedures as an organization place the young person ahead of all other considerations to the greatest extent possible. All our work, whether clinical or administrative, is custom designed and modified on a regular basis to ensure we constantly adapt to the unique and evolving needs of each young person.
